I have Windows 10, 64 bits. But since last Fall, my PC does NOT recognize the Converter. I have tried reinstalling, but no sollution at all....I am fearing it is due to Windows 10 Updates....I am very worried now, as I have many digitizing jobs with old VHS Tapes to be done....I have Video Recue Tape version 8.The PC is AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor 3.79 GHz. THis is URGENT!!!

@Tore-Leiren

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Check in Windows settings, Privacy & Security, Camera and Microphone that the option Let apps access your camera/microphone are on.

Download and install the appropriate driver for the Converter dongle from here. If the dongle has K0065 or K0067 marked on it use the Premium driver.
