Hi,

Am I able to pass on Magix Photos on CD & DVD Deluxe 6 having purchased Magix Photo Story and downloaded to my computer that the old one was on, as there is a person who has just started photography and I wish to give it to her to use and register on her computer, thank you for taking time to read and hopefully answer my question.

Hi,

Are you asking if you can transfer the license to use Magix Photos on CD and DVD Deluxe 6 to another person because you now have purchased PhotoStory on CD and DVD?

Hi,

I can't find any way to have your friend download the application and use your license code.  I think the product may be obsolete.  What they could try is to download the Magix Slide Show Maker 2 at this site http://download.cnet.com/Magix-Slideshow-Maker/3000-13455_4-10907281.html  I don't know if this link works any more, but it is worth a try.  If the do try this tell them to watch out for the "free tool bar installation" and not accept it.  Sorry, that is the best I can offer other than getting them to download the free trial from Magix for Photo Story on CD & DVD, register it for the full 30 day trial and see if they like it.

Kindest regards

Hi

Assuming you have the original CD, contact sales at Magix, explain what you want to do and ask them if they  will de-register the software.

Once they have done that the new user will be able to register the software.
