Hi there,

This means the program cannot successfully verify the copy-protection on the disc after the installation. This might happen sometimes, even if the original disc is in the drive. As any hardware copy-protection, this is susceptible to additional problems, and some drives just cannot read it properly. Magix tech support can help you with this. Go to the support website and get the "Unlockmaster" download from the tools section. Run the application and request an unlock code for the Magix program you're having these problems with. This will generate a request in Magix' system and they will get back to you with the code.

Good luck!

Hi again,

I guess I'm not really clear on where exactly you're trying to enter the serial number and the unlock code. Maybe this is a misunderstanding. How far can you get into the program? What can you do and what can you not do? Basically, there's only one valid place and situation to enter either number. You would only enter the serial number if the program prompts you for it, and you would only enter the unlock code into the Unlockmaster. Everything else doesn't make any sense. At this point in time, the problem doesn't have anything to do with not being able to read the disc.
