Open GL ES Error - can't find the Intel graphics

Benjamin-McElroy wrote on 1/28/2020, 7:13 PM

I just purchased and downloaded the program. But when I try to open it, I get the error message stated above. I googled this issue and found that perhaps I needed to update my Intel driver. The existing one is new (the laptop is new!) dated Sept 2019. But I found that Intel has a new one dated 1/16/2020. But it won't install. I have learned that some computer manufacturers (I have a Dell) customize their Intel drivers and users are not permitted to download updated drivers from Intel. Has anyone had this problem? So I purchased the program but can't use it! And I can't figure out how to get to Magix support. All I get is possible questions and answers. Help!

@Benjamin-McElroy

Hi

This is a common problem with customised drivers - you have to get them from Dell, however they may be a version behind the latest from Intel.

. . . . I can't figure out how to get to Magix support. . . . .
