On the case to my Magix music maker 16 it says "Download over 50 00 sounds. Simply dowload instruments and effect" I want to dowload more sound effects for my midi-for example a piano that sounds like a piano instead of a keyboard. how do I do this?

I would really like to be able to work with more sounds for the guitar and piano, I compose my own music so I don't need loops or pre-done piano pieces-what I need is something that sounds real. There are great strings and trumpets, but the only thing they have for piano are electric sounds and I would really like something more than that.

After reading your question I guess you are in wrong shoes. Music maker no matter which version got pre made sounds in loops. We can also use Piano, guitar or any equipment attach to computer to record but one track at a time. In Music Maker 16 which is standard version got Chill out, Hiphop, House Rock alternative and Techno trance with minimum synthesizer while MMM 16 Premium got more features and more synths.

If you got boxed version I gess no need to download any extra everything will be on DVD but if you got download version you have to downlad and install extra contents. For help check this pdf it will give you an idea

How to upgrade MMM 16 & install MMM 16 Premium download version? and How to add MMM 16 Premium extra packages

OK...let's try this again.  (The website choked on my first attempt.)

I'm not even going to try to explain the text on the box.

What you're looking for are additional VST instruments to use with the Vita MIDI Editor.  You can get them (for free) at websites like these...

http://www.kvraudio.com/get.php

http://www.vst4free.com/

I can say that the EVM Grand Piano is an acceptable acoustic piano emulation.  There are no doubt higher quality versions available for purchase by several companies.

If you're using the Basic (boxed) version of MMM, I don't know for sure if you can install any VST instruments, but it's worth a try.  I do know the Premium versions will load them.

You need to add a folder containing the DLL file (and all other related files) in the MMM "Synth" folder.  You can find the location of your synth folder from the Folder tab in the Program Settings ('Y' key).

If that doesn't work, I'd strongly suggest upgrading to the Premium version for an extra $30.  You'll get a ton more loops, as well as the Revolta 2 synthesizer and many more VST instruments, including acoustic pianos, plus electric and acoustic guitars.
