older version xara website wont load. error "SmartShape failed to load

Error on older XARA version loading " Sy SmartShape failed to load" I'm on windows 10 PC. currently using the latest version

xara designer pro x version 18.0.0.61642 x64 March 18 2021. Any one have any ideas?

Do you mean you are trying to open a XWD 18 file in an older version of XWD, or trying to load a project file created in an older version of Web Designer in XWD 18?

If the former then backward compatibility is not guaranteed.

If the latter what version of XWD was used to create the project file and do you have backups of it?
