Not able to connect to content

I have a recent issue with not being able to access the online catalogue. I am not certain when this problem began as I am not a frequent user of it. A Dialogue pop up say "I need to be connected to the Internet" which of course, I am. I can download and install the panorama and content from the menu. So far, I have tried it with my Antivirus / Firewall off still the same. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Software that does not work.

Strangely enough, I used my VPN to alter my network and that did work! Could my IP be blocked for some reason?
