No sound when uploading videos

Hi - I just bought Magix Rescue your Videotapes and have successfully recorded one of my VHS tapes to the laptop and burnt to a DVD - working really well.

Now I have tried uploading a home-made recent DVD to the laptop and from there to Magix to burn it to another DVD, i.e. copy the original. Although I can see the moving images, there is no sound - I have tried everything I can think of. Please help. There is definitely sound on the originals that are downloaded onto the laptop.

You should be able to copy the VOB to the MAGIX software to burn again...meaning import the file from the original disc directly into the MAGIX software, save it for later use, then burn it to DVD.
