No serial number for Photo Designer 7

I have recently purchased a new laptop computer and am installing my software on it. Photo Designer 7 was a download from MAGIX's site as best I remember. I purchased it on March 12, 2019. I don't recall ever receiving a serial number for it. I would have written it down, like I did for Web Designer Premium. I can't find a place to email the company.

Is there anything I can do or have I spent $55 for nothing?

Another issue I have is there were updates for the Web Designer Premium (copyright 2018) after I installed the program from the CD. I no longer have access to those updates, it appears. I'm not asking for access to updates after the year I had access. Just for the year I had access. Is there any help with that?

@Don-Petty

Hi

Photo Designer 7 is a free program - see here.

Was the $55 for the Update service for Web Designer?

If you did not continue the Update Service for Web Designer and you have to re-install, the program reverts to the version you purchased and no updates.

Access to the Online catalogue* to add more features to the website(s) created with Web Designer is also lost once the Update Service period expires - * the small print says this however it is in marketing speak:

. . . .1 full year of access to the Online-Content-Catalog. After the first year has expired, the offer can be extended for a discounted price . . . .

Which translated means with a valid Update Service you have access to the online catalogue and any new features made available. Unlike some programs which have a subscription style Update Service, the program does continue work once the Update Service expires - just no online catalogue or further updates.
