No Monitor sound of the recorded sounds

Usually when recording vocals in Magix Musik Maker earlier than 14, I was able to hear or monitor the recorded sound during recording. This i am not able to do in Musik Maker 15, Why is that?

Its pretty darned hard to sing "In tune" when you cant hear what you are singing :)

Hi,
I can't say for certain much about V15. But in the record dialog window of many previous versions including 14 there is a little check box titled "Playback while recording"

For some reason this box is not always selected by default; simply check it and you can monitor existing tracks while you record.

Again V15 might be different but since this is a common problem others have had with previous version you might have an easy fix.

Ahh I'm following you now. I use a mixer and do my own monitoring so I was on a different page ^_^

Again this might not pertain to you but in my particular version; to monitor what is being currently recorded I have to activate the record feature right on the track prior to clicking the record button. Right next to the track icon is a 'Record Audio' that I can click to highlight; if I click it again it changes to 'Record Midi'

When I click these it does just what you say and monitors that track as I record.
