Hi,
First, unless you've copied your sound collections and the MM CD to your hard drive, make sure your CD is in the drive.
When you import from CD are you able to see the collections during import? Are they available while the CD is in? Where does it fail?

Make sure to have the available patch for Music Maker 14 installed. That addresses a few issues that are causing problems related to the soundpool database management and can occur under certain circumstances. After that, reset and reimport the soundpools. This should hopefully help.
