are you sure you want s-vhs? It would mean ending up with b/w. If you do go with that,

then you would need to choose that option in the recording dialogue, i.e. s-vhs instead of

composite, which you currently have chose in the program.

Thannks.  I think I did want S-video not S-VHS.  I also found the problem.  A small '+' to click on the GUI.  It's working freat now.
