Please help me with this problem. I have just installed "MAGIX Movies on DVD7" on mu computer. I am running Windows Vista and my VHS is an older Sony Smart engine. The problem is when i tried to record an analog video, then there are no colors on the screen. I can see the movie and hear the sound perfectley.

Hi there,

Can you provide more details about your VCR? Is it a regular European one with SCART output? If so, what leads are you using to connect it to the USB capture device? Make sure you're using the yellow Composite connection, rather than the S-Video connection.

Hmm. If you're already using the yellow (i.e. Composite) connection for the video, you shouldn't be experiencing such problems. So, if this is anything that can be rectified on the side of the capture device or Magix software, your best bet might be contacting Magix technical support. Maybe it's a driver issue. Try under "E-Mail Support" on this site:

support.magix.net

Hope you can get the problem sorted.
