I would like to help in answering your query, the new addition soundpool 18 also caught my eye on Catooh, from what I am aware, pool 18 does not contain any ogg formats, it is still 16-bit and contains 'audio pro unlimited wav' files only, which is a higher gradient format for sound sampling as well as the licence restrictions offering unrestricted copyrights. This package is for sale for approx £122,
I am not 100%, still learning myself, hope this adds to what you were asking to find out.
I am not surprised to see Magix upping it's prices, to compete with other sample manufacterers, whom provide 24-bit formats, and sell soundpools for around the value of £200 - £1000.
Thank you very much for answer. Did you see DVD 18 on Catooh.uk or where?
If Magix will increase their product's cost then who will buy Music Maker or soundpool. Those who knew, Cubase, Cake walk, Ableton, Sonar, Sony, Fl etc will prefer those with same price.
The reason people were using Magix music maker and Soundpool was the cost factor. Any way.
