Navigation bar link to phpbb

Is there a way to create a navigation bar link to something in a different directory from the main page? The only way I've found to have a navigation bar link to my phpbb forum is by using the entire url to it. e.g. "https://www.mywebsite.com/phpbb". I think it would be better if the user didn't have to go all the way out and come back in again. I'm using Web Designer Premium 17.1.0.60742

@David-Baxter

Hi

. . . . "https://www.mywebsite.com/phpbb". I think it would be better if the user didn't have to go all the way out and come back in again. . . . .

Using a relative link or an absolute link makes no difference as far as the browser is concerned or the operation of the website.

The 'not going all the way out of the site and back again' is a misconception, using relative URL's the browser assumes you are staying in the same domain it knows ie where the current page came from. When a relative link is clicked it rebuilds the full URL from what it knows of the domain address plus the relative link information and requests the new page from the web server.

There is no significant advantage in using relative links as the differences they make to the website are marginal.
