my video is jumpy and it looks like a slidshow more than a video

the video is very jumpy and things dont work such as: the lips start to move 3 seconds after the speeking has started ect somebody please help!

If your computer is very full of files and slow then sometimes videos won't play back smoothly. Once you burn it it plays better though. Or it could be your camera ?
