My post did not appear on forum

I posted my first question yesterday (on 30.8.09), and cannot find it anywhere on the forum. How do I navigate to this question (and hopefully answers)?

Incidentally, I find the search facility totally useless. I have tried searching for topics and the results bear no relation to the questions asked.

Just check in your profile (click "My overview" in the upper right corner). There is a tab which lists all your questions.

The search option is not useless. It's just looking for the tags people add to their questions. Some people give stupid tags.
