What are the image and project resolution settings?

This can occur when the photos resolution is small and you are trying to fit them in a larger space.

For example if the the image in portrait mode is 768 * 1024 and you are fitting them into a project 1920*1080 full width - you are expanding the 768 pixel width to 1920 pixels ie magnifying the pixels by 2.5 times and will appear blurred.
