@Jo-Bainbridge

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

First, since your question is about Photostory I have moved your post to the correct forum area.

Unfortunately, your post is a little confusing!

I am not at all sure why the absence of a DVD drive should be a problem for you? Almost every recent Magix software has been available as a download (and often only in that format).

You then go on to say the new update downloaded but unable to load from disc. Can you explain this please? What "disc" prevents what loading?

The rewrite you say you bought I am assuming is actually Photostory Deluxe 2022. Is that correct? If so, and it does not support Windows 11 as you claim, that is the latest version and no earlier version is likely to support Win 11 either! I see from the specifications page for this latest version that Win 11 is not actually listed, but I would be very surprised if that OS is incompatible with it. In my mind there would be some question as to whether PS 2018, for which you were requesting a download link, would run under Win 11.

So, please give us a lot more information about what you actually need! Also, some indication of the specifications of your new laptop would be invaluable (this post will show you the sort of information we need).
