My laptop does not react upon inserting the Magix video converter USB

The red light of the converter only flashes once. There is no possibility to chose the converter when starting new project, only the laptop camera.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

What make/model is the USB capture device - if not shown what colour and other markings are there?

Hi

. . . . Red MAGIX . . .

AFAIK Magix have never had a red only converter - is it Red/White?

Is the computer running Windows 10?

Hi

The most likely cause is the wrong driver, try installing this driver for the red/white converter.

@staff-b

Based on your most recent post I am going to guess that the notice you refer to is actually a message from Windows that the driver is not certified. If so, and you have downloaded the driver to which John gave you the link, you can safely ignore the warning and install it.

Then try again to use the app.
