I am trying to open tracks I recorded on music studio 14, tracks I opened with no problem before. But now I get this message:
OBJECT ENTRY BEHIND PHYSICAL SAMPLE
then it goes on to say TRACK and TAKE etc...then a path way......
the options are CONTINUE LOAD ALL or CANCEL
when I do either continue or load all it mixes all bunch of different tracks together.....
What has happened and how can I correct this problem??? Plus, How can I protect my self from this happening again???

It sounds like corruption.
Check to see if you have the same project file name but its file extension is .bak
If so, click to open that and see if the project opens. If it does, save it again with a NEW Project name.
Without knowing what caused the problem it would be hard to prevent the problem. Most issues that are corruption related are because the computer is just over taxed with numerous applications installed that have drowned the system in protocols, drivers, and the dreaded start up programs.
Check the maintenance of your system, make sure everything is updated; nothing else is running when you record and save, and save a backup.
