What version of Music Maker?

What Windows operating system are you running it on?

Have you tried reinstalling the software? Does it give you an error?

I HAVE THE MUSIC MAKER 11, OPERATING ON WINDOWS XP, I DID RE-INSTALL, THE ERROR WAS A THREAT MESSAGE PICKED BY MY AVG VIRUS PROTECTOR CLAIMING THERE WAS SOME SORT OF TROJAN ON OPENING OF THE MUSIC MAKER?

I had Music Maker 11; when I was running Windows XP. I don't think there is any trojan on the Magix disc, unless its a bootleg copy... which I also doubt.

It might be that your virus protection is causing the whole configuration issue. My suggestion would be to install the Music Maker 11 program in Windows Safe Mode. Once this is done, leave the disc in the drive and reboot the system (back into Normal operating mode) then double click the Music Maker icon on desktop. This should make one final call to the serial code on the disc for authorization and you should be good to go.

THANK YOU, I WILL ATTEMPT THIS SAFE-MODE THIS EVENING. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL RESOLVE THE ISSUE, BEEN WORKING ON SOME PROJECTS AND WOULD LIKE TO FINISH THEM UP.  THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPPORT INFO.
