I tried this but can't see "vita" in the synth folder. I only have Livid and Temp. Still doesn't work for me.  Nash, did you get this thing to work?

I have now found the Vita folder (in a different place than specified below, but I can see all the vita instruments in explorer). However it will not let me select this as a valid Vita BasicPath!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I have the same issue right now.  I tried looking for the Vita folder in the directory.  Can't find it.  I have MM 14 PE.  I can only see the "Synth" folder, and then Livid and temp.  Where's Vita?
I wish someone would have a more precise answer for this.  Thanks.

My Vita synth dissapeared all of a sudden, my fix is the following:
In Magix 15 open your track, Double click the Vita Icon in the Synthesizer area, it will then give you the message (Please choose your Vita Basic Path) click OK to that and find the following folder:

C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\MusicMaker15\Synth
DO NOT OPEN THE FOLDER, JUST SELECT IT AND CLICK OK

Note: you will only be able to find the folder by showing your hidden files and folders. Just in case you don't know how to do that? before you do the stuff I mentioned above:
In windows XP:
open any folder and in the menu of the folder choose: Tools --> Folder Options, select the second tab in the dialog box (View) and tick the "Show hidden files and folders" radio button.
In windows VISTA:
Open any folder and choose the "Organize" button in the top, then choose "Folder and search options" select the second tab in the dialog box (View) and tick the "Show hidden files and folders" radio button.

I have my baselines back!!!!!

Let me know if it works for you!

none of this helped.

I have unhidden the folders and followed the path to where Vita Synth is located and the .dll file does not show. The only options are to select teh main Vita folder or the Vita layers, or Vita temp. When i choose any of these is advises that it is not a valid path...

do you think anyone from Magix support could jump in to assist...

so their support is horrible..if it wasn't for the user community, poepl would give up using their s/w...which I am fully considering.

please help..

ps. Windows XP, Dell Dimnesion 300, all DirectX direvers updated
