Music Maker not allowing me to export song as MP3 or WAV file. What's happening?

I've been using the MAGIX Music Maker 15 program on a Dell, wIndows 7 computer for three years now. I've been working on a project over the past month and have had no issues using the program, saving files, and exporting them as an MP3 for iTunes...today I went to export a song I've been working on and under File - Export..the only thing highlighted is to export to YouTube, which will not work with iTunes. I'm not sure what is suddenly keeping me from being able to select export as MP3 or WAV. Everything else seems to be in order.

Does anyone know of any troubleshooting tips here?

I use Magix MM 17 MX so I don't know the layout of .v15 but there are few things I would try to determine the problem.

1. Start up Magix MM.
In the Magix program under the "Help" menu at the top of the screen in the menu bar - look for anything pertaining to: "Updaye Program / Update Functions."
IIf it is there then look for "Activate additional functions" - it should say " Activate .mp3 Encoder" in there and activate, Close the program and re-start to check if it is working again and problem goes away.
Note: If in MM version 15 this option is not available uner the "Help" menu then you may want to look for "Program settings" throughout and look for related functions that may be deactivated.

2. Run a system check on your pc for any misiing or deleted drivers or .dll files - if so restore these deleted or removed files and try the Magix program again to see if it resolved the issue.
If you go to device manager in your control panel choose your audio driver and try updating the driver software.

4. Reinstall Magix and re-activate the .mp3 encoder - be sure to click and turn off "Easy mode"

It sounds possibly like you may have turned off or uninstalled an audio program/software thay may have been sharing these codecs/encoder capabilities.

The worst case scenario you can restore your pc to an earlier date when you knew it to work best However use this as a last resort and contact the Magix Tech support first.

Let me know if any of these steps corrected the problem.
