Music Maker 11 Deluxe: How can I get the Njorum (Sampler synth) to work?

Hi.

I know that I have a much older version of Music maker, but I had a question, since one features is not working. I have the updates, as a clean install and then the highest update that was put out, the feature still did not work.

How can I get the Njorum (Sampler synth) to work? Everytime I try, it does not work at all. It is silent. All other synths and virtual instruments work.

It has been very glitchy, but a few years ago it worked a few times.

I do not remember that synth at all. Is there any way you can screen capture it?

Perhaps there is a setup screen for it, and maybe it uses MIDI, therefore it needs to be directed to the Sound Cards tone bank.

It is in the Sampler synth. I'll find it in the file trees too on my C drive.

It is not a sound font or a melody, it should be selectable.

3. This was the default installation for where I can find it. The wav file sounds cool, and the few times it worked, it sounded quite interesting.

Does anyone know if this synth sound is in any current synthesizers in Music Maker 15 - 17 regular or Premium editions? Or in Samplitude Music Studio 14, 15 or Sapmlitude 11.5 Producer?

I just installed the V11 Deluxe on a older XP machine, and like you, I could not get the "Njorum" kit to work in the sampler either.

You might want to try out the trial of the Music Maker 17, thought I do not believe there is an exact replica sound synth like the sampler, I find that the Vita instrument is a worthy replacement for a true instrument sound. But it is not like what I think you are after.

The trial version should may give you that clue.
