If I am not wrong Music Maker 11 is older version which support

Windows 98, 98SE, ME, 2000, XP

As you got Windows 7 that is creating problem. I will suggest check this answer(I like it very much)may be that can help you.

Or if you like did you do settings for driver in Music Maker. In My MMM 16 Premium there is an option to choose various drivers I do not know about MMM 11.

On keyboard click "Y" then Audio/Midi tab on left there are settings choose from drop down menu.
