MSP v13 CD/DVD won't install on Windows 10 machine

I bought the special Movie Studio Platinum v13 and "free upgrade to v14 in February" special. I opted for the physical CD/DVD. Going through the installation process like normal, and it says installation has been successful, but there are no folders, files, or icons for MSP13 anywhere on my machine. Looked at the folder where it says the installation was performed, and there is nothing there but my old v12 installation. My old MSP v12 still works like normal.

I tried the online "help" and none of the folders or files it describes are on my installation CD/DVD. I'm not capable of registry editing. I read something about that, too. I work from 9 to 5, so I can't call technical support during that time. Gonna ask my credit card company for a charge-back here real soon... I've about had it trying to get this to work. Even the product selection dropdown box below does not have a selection for Movie Studio Platinum. What did I buy?

Anyone else? Any known fixes?

I tried the Sony site before I came here. When I entered the version information to post the question, it said this product no longer supported by them, and to contact Magix. I'll try one more time, then it gets bundled up and sent back.

If you get no reply then this usually means that no other user has encountered this problem so no answer is available.

I think you need to take this up with the retailer you bought the software from.
