MPEG-4 CODEC Activation Code for Photostory easy

Robert-Lengel wrote on 1/10/2022, 3:36 AM

I've ordered and received the activation code for AVCHD and the code will not work. I receive the error message, "The activation code is incorrect. Please make sure it has been entered correctly or contact the MAGIX customer service: www.support.magix.net". I've manually entered the value as well as cut+paste from order. Below the activation box, it states, "Changes to your computer configuration can lead to invalidation of your activation code. In such cases, please conduct the activation anew. When I went back to restart the AVCHD activation, it required me to purchase another code. Neither have worked.

@Robert-Lengel

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

First, you will see I have moved your post to the Photostory area of the forum, rather than the Video Products area.

Because this is an installation issue you need to email infoservice@magix.net with FULL details of your purchases and ask that they supply you with the correct activation code, along with a refund for the extra activation code you seem to have bought.

One thought: can Photostory Easy use that AVCHD codec? I believe the full version of PS can but am unsure about the "Easy" version.

Hi

Assuming the program is Photostory Easy 2.

. . . . I've ordered and received the activation code for AVCHD and the code will not work. . . . .

Can you post a screenshot of the activation dialog.

Are you getting the activation dialog when you try to import a video file?

If so what is the source of the video file?

Download and install MediaInfo and analyse one the video file and post the results, see this tutorial on how to setup MediaInfo if you are not familiar with it, and analyse a video clip to get the full data that you can post directly into a comment.
