Hi peeps,
I dont usually use this type arena, but this seems to be an effective place to get answers to your questions - promptly, so i'll pester you all with another.
This time MP4 HD1080 export settings with the *.mts extension from a panasonic SD card camcorder with a bit rate of around 25,000Bps.
I use three Panasonic camcorders to shoot my material and obviously edit with this great magix Video Pro X2.5 software. But when edited, and requires mixing down / exporting to a HD1920 x 1080 x 50p, the same format as the original master file - I cant.. - The max bitrate I can acheive from MP4 H.264 is around 9,000 - 12,000Bps and loosing definition. If I was to use that clip somewhere else, the bit bit rate will drop even furthur to sometimes as low as 7,000Bps when exported for the second time..
QUESTION:
Can I select an export setting which matches the source video, is there a tick box?
I have converted to Magix from a Coral program which had "EXPORT WITH SETTINGS FROM FIRST VIDEO CLIP" - which is great.
The only alternative is to export as *.MOV - this maintains the bit rate at around 25,000bps on the "GOOD" setting but I find that the contrast is abit dark in area's where the MP4 maintains colour and brightness better - especially when uploaded to Youtube. *.Mov is dark once loaded to youtube :-(
I Look forward to reading your sugestions soon
:-)
