mp3s dont work anymore

i just installed acid pro 10 on a brand new laptop and for some reason i cant use any mp3s to sample like i used to on my other pc. i uninstalled a few times, reset my pc since its new and didnt have anything on it to begin with, ran as administrator, turned off virus protection, nothing is working. i feel stuck since im a sampler and dont understand whats goin on

@Dorian-Batipps Install the newest update via the help menu and close the program. Hold CTRL+SHIFT and double click on the ACID icon to start the program. You will see a small window that ask you to reset the program preferences. Click on the checkbox to delete all cached data. Click on "Yes". Then try again to load MP3 files.
