Movie Studio 2024 Platinum fails to open

After a crash that caused a blue screen on my Windows 11 laptop, Movie Studio will no longer open. The splash screen appears and makes it to "Initializing Media pool".. The outer frame of the application window builds then after a pause closes.

How do I clean out whatever is preventing the program from starting?

I uninstalled the program and removed all folders and registry entries related to Magix. I re-installed and it still closed before finishing. I restarted the PC and it worked.
