Movie Edit Pro 16: how to add 'blank video' between parts

lukvdh wrote on 3/27/2010, 3:01 PM
I have (let's say) a video of 1 hour. After that I would like to have 20 seconds pause, and then a title. How do I do this? It seems I can't "fill up the gap" between the video-file and the title. When "running" the project everything is shown as I want it to be, but when I burn the project tyo DVD only the main video-part is shown. Not the "pause" and not the title-after-the-pause.
I hope someone understands what I'm trying to explain and someone can help me.
Thanks in advance!

Did you just leave a gap of 20 sec duration between the first part and the following title and second part of your film ?.

If yes, then you have only burnt the first part of your video. Try filling the gap with another 20 second title with no content ie just black screen then make sure everything butts up together or overlaps with a crossfade.

hope that helps

Hi there,
I find that filling the gap with a standard title to the length you require works well, as long as you remove the text of course.
