Hi there,

If by "on edit action" you mean specifically the act of switching to the "Edit" section in the program, please try using the "Reset program settings to defaults" function in the "Help" menu of the program and see whether that helps and makes the program functional again. If not, I'd probably recommend contacting Magix tech support.

I have just had this problem. MEP 15plus worked for me up to yesterday morning. I modified a clip in a 30 minute video and saved the project. I opened the program later in the afternoon, moved to "Edit" and immediately had the Vista "program has stopped working". Message I have reset settings and reinstalled but no change. I can load an existing project and burn that project to disk but as soon as I try to edit --- crash.

The problem is with Magix support at the moment. I'll add more when there is a fix

Keep smiling ...

More information: I tried the re-install then "reset program settings to default" again today and this time it worked. That's the wonder of software ...
