Mouse zoom not working - and pdf download

CRH wrote on 11/19/2024, 4:14 PM

I've been a user since 2018. The software help menu just gives old references for clicking a thousand times a minute just to navigate a project.

Cannot zoom in any way with mouse or ctl,alt,shift. Only onscreen native controls which are completely absurd how small they are. We are on 2025 now and still the whole zoom system is rudimentary and completely unprofessional for any use. No options for other than forever time consuming clicking those smallest buttons and scrollbars of any software.

ALSO: The direct Pdf link being sent out with orders is Not compatible with anything but adobe. Who uses adobe reader anymore.

Fixed..pdf direct link needs to be copied and pasted into browser instead of clicking it.

@CRH Have you tried CTRL + SHIFT + Mouse wheel to zoom?

CRH wrote on 11/19/2024, 4:23 PM

Yes I mentioned that but nothing. Thank you though for replying

@CRH Just to be clear, you need to hold CTRL and SHIFT at the same time.

CRH wrote on 11/20/2024, 6:18 AM

Yes I am aware of holding those keys, but nothing. There's a bug in the zoom mouse code. My mouse works fine also.

@CRH

Hi,

Music Maker 2025 33.0.2.10

Ctrl+Shift+mouse wheel zooms in and out fine here, as does

Alt+Shift+mouse wheel to move along the timeline.

Something must be wrong with your mouse or system if these don't work for you.

Sorry, I can't help you. There seems to be no bug with the mouse tools that is reproducible by others.

Maybe raise a ticket with Magix.

@CRH

Hi,

Glad you figured it out. Did you turn this off yourself at some point or was this the default for your mouse? Mine is on by default.

Its on by default in Windows. I turned it off when I setup windows. When I saw it, I thought, dont tell me this is why... And it was.
