Any thoughts as to why Morph Pads don't seem to be functioning?

Here's been my user experience while trying out the new Morph pads feature thus far.

Also found another bug when creating this simple project to try out Morph pads. If I launch Acid and then load the saved project, Acid launches and loads the project no issue. If I double click on the saved project *.acd file instead, Acid crashes on launch.
