Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error (Post update error)

Hello y'all!

I've been loving Acid Pro 9 for a few weeks, but after the recent update just a few days ago I haven't been able to open my recent work file which has hours of progress on it and i'm bummed! I need help fixing a problem I just recently ran into!

The message reads:
============
"Runtime Error!

Program: [Insert acid pro file location here]

abnormal program termination"

===========

I'm a bit confused, i have the most up to date Visual C++ Files installed! Whats up with that?? Is my .acd file corrupted or am I just an idiot? Please let me know if you're having the same problems or if you got yours fixed as of recently because i'm pretty bummed at the moment.

Hello,

I suggest you re-install ACID using the "Fix It" tool, you can find it here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed

If after a new installation the program has still problems starting up, please contact me through private message so I can open a support ticket for you.

You can also create a support ticket using this link: https://support2.magix.com/customer/index.php

Best regards,

B

I have reinstalled over and over, restart my computer over and over and somehow this error only occurs when I try to open a project file which is really inconvenient... Also sometimes I don't even get an error message and it just straight up closes the whole program without loading an error message. I really hope this massive bugs can be fixed because I would really like to be able to keep using Acid Pro. I've been using it for 7+ years and I really cannot see myself being interested in learning another program...
