Merge video

how do you merge /group everything so that it is one complete video with out blanks. I recieved an error on conversion to MPEG that there were blanks. I think it is looking at the entire 65 min file that I started with and I now have only 35 min after editing. I have not located in the editing function how to resize the file after editing

One way of checking for blanks could be clicking each A/B mark at each clip and control especially the "thru black" transitions.
You can't resize or do anything with the main file (thanks for that!), but you can export the new 35 min film to a new file with a different name.
