MEP14 - Background colour of imported animated GIF

Transparent backgrounds of animated gifs appear black on importing to MEP14. It is not clear how to change the colour.

I hope this might give you a hint how to solve your problem:

At cursor position 1 the background is black by default, since the white of the picture in track 2 is transparent.

At cusor position 2 the video changes to the colour of the background video in track1.
--> Insert a background picture of a uniform colour of your choice to solve your problem.
