do they a a manual for the 2013 movie edit pro instead of having to use a pdf file or printing over 300 pages to bring something tangeable with me?

First, since your question clearly refers to Movie Edit Pro I have moved your post to the appropriate area of the forum.
To answer your question: as with almost all, if not actually all, software manufacturers it is simply uneconomic for them to produce a printed manual for each new release of the program. Hence, the answer is, No, sorry.

Hi Daryl.
Although it is unusual to get a printed manual nowadays unless you are paying for a premium product, it is possible to download pdf's to a smartphone so you at least have a copy on a more portable device. Even my car's manual is in the dashboard electronically now with no hard copy.
