Magix xtreme photostory freezes

I am using Magix xtreme photostory in Vista. After ripping soundtracks from CD and converting them from mp4a to mp3 and importing them into the slide show, the program freezes after 3-4 minutes of operation. Rebooting and starting the program agan allows it to run again for 3-4 minutes before freezing. Does anybody know how to fix the problem?

I have the same problem. Wish somebody would answer this. Or is this simply a fault of the software and nobody knows how to overcome this?

I have a similar problem with Extreme Photostory 6. After adding music it hangs up when I try to play it back for preview before burning. It plays for less than 2 minutes. Have to close the program through task manager. Totally hangs up. I know I have an old program, but don't want to buy a newer program if this is going to happen. Had Photostory 5 and didn't have problems.
