Magix Xtreme Photo Designer 7 - Export feature is missing

Hello Experts!

I am using Magix Xtreme Photo Designer 7. I isolated picture object using the Lasso tool. When I want to save the image as PNG format with transparency, I cannot find the "Export" function under File. I can only see Save, Save as or Save for Internet. If I use File>Save as> PNG, the Option button will not do anything or give any options. I always ended up with black rectangle around the isolate image.

I contacted support which went to Xara and they told me this is not their product.

Any suggestion on how I can make tranparent PNG image from this software? Thanks!

Hi

Are you confusing Magix Extreme Photo Designer 7, which has no Export function, with Xara Photo and Graphic Designer which does have an Export as PNG function to save images with transparency?

AFAICS there is no way to save background transparency in a png file using Photo Designer - the objects are always merged and their is (AFAICS) no way to set the background object to transparent.

Hi John,

I am probably confused with both products. If the product has no export function, then it is alright. At least I didn't miss it. Not sure why this important feature is not provided. Anyway.... Thanks!
