Magix vs Sony Vegas

Hi all

I am looking for a Video editing solution and have got my list down to magix x1.5 or vegas pro 9 I am really amazed that magix can make a full spec AVCHD DVD right off the timeline where in vegas a 3rd party freeware programme must be used to make a full spec AVCHD so well done magix for beating sony on that issue

But why is magix so slugish where vegas is so fast on the same pc spec?

It does make desiding what to use hard

Does anyone know if magix x 1.5 might improve soon to be more like vegas

I think Magix would be better, not because i own the program, it's just that i feel that it's better than sony vegas. I own both programs, here is a website for you to see. http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ shows you the stats and ratings of each top ten progrmas. so far, magix is pwning!

the playback isn't better than vegas but overall, it's better!

They will fix it up for version 16, but i don't think it will come out untill around winter of 2009.

Either way, it's up to you!
