@Trond-Ulven

Hi and welcome to the user to user forums.

The current video gabbing program from Magix is not called Video Saver and the Magix site for downloading programs has never been at Magix.net. I do however see it as current and on sale from Amazon which is puzzling.

Exactly how long ago did you download this software and or did you buy the boxed version and what video interface are you using with it?

Ray.

Hi

Video Saver is also known as Rescue your Video Tapes.

. . . . Tha system will not grab the video from my VHS player No video on the screen. . . . .

The most common fixes of the issue you are having are:

  1. In Windows settings, Privacy & Security, Camera and Microphone options, the Let desktop apps access your camera / microphone settings should be turned on.

  2. The USB video capture device drivers are not up to date - the latest drivers can be downloaded from here. If you have the K0065 or K0067 device download the Premium driver.

  3. If using a SCART connector to connect to the VCR and it has a switch on it - the switch should be set to Out

  4. Incorrect input is not selected ie S-Video (black connector) or Composite (yellow connector) this should match the connection to the USB device, audio should be the red &white connectors

If non of these fix the issue then we need more information on your computer specification and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full - I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.

The switch on the Scart plug did it. Thanks.
