Magix Video Deluxe 2008 e Version can not read .mov file

The program Magix Video Deluxe 2008 e Version,

after starting and editing cannot read and open .mov file,

a recorded file by the contur hd camera,

could it be, that the codec failed?

It could be that the camera you have is using a codec that was not available at the time of the release of that MAGIX program. I think the Video Deluxe 2008 is the same as either Movie Edit Pro 12 or 14, there was not 13... unlucky number.

So. You might try making sure you have the latest version of QuickTime installed to see if that helps or you will need to use the software that came with the camera to maybe export the file out into a different format that is supported by your Video Deluxe.

That would be my suggestion.
