@emmrecs It looks like Magix Audio Studio 11 Deluxe which was part of Magix Music Studio 11 Deluxe back in 2006, I believe. This program usually still works fine under Windows 10. I tested it myself.

@J-Samuels Is microphone access enabled in the Windows security settings?

You also might need to disable controlled folder access or Windows Defender so the software can write the recorded file to your SSD.

If this doesn't help, you may need to show us screenshots of your Audio Studio program settings.

It is the Magix Music Studio Audio Deluxe 11, 2006

I have disabled windows defender and the microphone access was enabled, however i'm still having the same issue when attempting to record audio in or vocals.

I can see the line signal meters receiving the audio/vocals going in, but once i press record the audio violation message appears

@J-Samuels Have you tried the ASIO or WDM driver option instead of MME?

It might also be worth a try to change the compatibility mode to Windows XP. Make a right click on the program icon, click on properties, change the compatibility mode there.

Where do you save the recordings? Under C:\Magix? Your screenshot is a little bit blurry, but it looks like it. You could also try to run the program as administrator by right clicking on the program icon so there isn't any write protection on this folder.

The path in your image looks like:

C:\Magix\AS11_deluxe\Audio\New\

This is not the ideal location for saving your recordings as the computer is running Windows 10 which has more securiy features then the version of Windows Audio Studio 11 was written for.

To avoid issues with saving the files the folder location for recordings must be inside your Documents folder.

I changed the compatibility mode to Windows XP (service pack 2 and 3) and ran the program via administrator however still i have the same issue, i also downloaded ASIO4ALL to see this this would make a difference but no joy, frustrating !!

I have 2 questions

If you graphic data does not load but you try to rebuild graphic data via view drop down tab, however this still does not rebuild the graphic, is there any workaround for this. ?

Also based on the above issues ,Can i import my VIP project created via Magix deluxe 11 to Music Maker 21 as i may upgrade

@J-Samuels You would need Samplitude Music Studio, not Music Maker.
