Magix's Free Trail verses what really get when you purchase!

I tried out the Free Trail for Magix Premium and was very pleased with the program. However when I purchased I found that I could not download anything from the HUB. One needed a 'Subscription'. Dashed if I can find how to get such a thing. Sort of fraudulent in my book, should have had all what the trial gave plus giving a better than a 3 min save of a vide which it does. I was looking forward in particular to the Text to Speech even though it has a few short comings like not being able to drop a pre-prepared text script into it or having any paragraph rests/pauses etc coding. Overall it looks to be clearer to use over my 1915/16 and 17 versions but otherwise not much the same Magix Video Editor. (Interestingly my 1917 version fails to run on Windows 11!)

Hi

. . . . One needed a 'Subscription'. Dashed if I can find how to get such a thing. Sort of fraudulent in my book, should have had all what the trial gave plus giving a better than a 3 min save of a vide which it does. . . . .

There is nothing fraudulent with respect to the trial version. For some of the items in the 'Hub' this is correct, a subscription requirement is clearly stated on the website and the option to purchase a subscription here, scroll down to see the section shown below :-

. . . . Overall it looks to be clearer to use over my 1915/16 and 17 . . . .

Assuming you are referring to Vegas Movie Studio, Magix Movie Studio is an entirely different program.

@Donald-Weston

You wrote about 1915/16 and 17 versions. Did you mean that?

If you wish to change from the Perpetual Licence to the Subscription Licence, assuming you bought the software quite recently, simply email infoservice@magix.net and ask for a refund of the purchase of the former and then "order" the Subscription version.
