MAGIX “RESCUE YOUR VIDEO-TAPES! 6

I am using AVG Internet Security Ver.16.141.7998.

I purchased MAGIX “RESCUE YOUR VIDEO-TAPES! 6”, 2nd
November 2011 (acknowledgment of my registration).  MAGIX was in use for about 2 years, I then unstalled
it.

I am using the same computer as in 2011, and have
re-installed from the original 2 disks. All software runs perfectly except for “Video
easy Rescue Your Video-Tapes 6”. When chosen, this icon produces a display of
“less than 600 pixels” which will not allow me to alter the display parameters,
and the only way of exiting the display is by use of the ‘Esc’ key. I have
tried installing the program on its own as well as with the accompanying
software. My Screen is set to 1440 x 900 pixels (recommended) which is the maximum
possible. I have also tried altering the display varying the settings between 1024
x 768 and the above maximum value. When I attempted this second installation, updates
were downloaded. I have used ‘System Restore’ but with no success! Please
advise me?

My operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium
