Magix Photostory Easy MPEG-2 error message

How can I resolve the issue behind the following error message?: "Unfortunately, the function 'MPEG-2' is not available due to licensing conditions." I arrive at this error message after creating a slideshow and clicking as follows: File > Finish slideshow > Burn to disc... > Continue, and that's as far as I get. There is no option to obtain a license to resolve the issue. I am using a trial version of Magix Photostory Easy (v. 2.0.1.54 (UDC2) on a Windows 10, 64 bit system. I tried disabling McAfee firewall and importing an mpeg-2 video file into Magix Photostory Easy and received a different error message (i.e., "The file format of path\filename.mpg cannot be read by MAGIX Photostory easy..."), but again with no dialog boxes to lead to resolution of the problem. I do want to purchase the full version, but not if I can't make it work. The draft slideshow I am using to learn the software and test its functionality is one minute in length, so I have not exceeded the stated capability of the trial version.

@RH53

Hi

. . . . I am using a trial version of Magix Photostory Easy (v. 2.0.1.54 (UDC2) on a Windows . . . .

Until the full version of the program has been purchased and activated/registered it will have limited functionality eg licenced codecs (MPEG-2 etc) will not work, you may also be limited to exporting a few minutes of video etc.

Thank you very much, John EB. I went ahead and purchased the full version of the program and this issue has now been resolved.
