@Francois-Maes

Hi

. . . . How to contact magix by phone to give more details? . . . .

There is no telephone support, you can raise a Support ticket, link is at the top of the page and scroll down to the bottom to see the Email Support link.

A response may take up to 5 days as we are approaching the weekend.

A quicker option would be to post more information here in the forum, there are many experienced users of the program here who may be able to help with the issue you are experiencing.

See this topic what information is required.

Are the graphics card drivers up to date

Are you getting any error messages? If so please quote in full.

See this short tutorial on how to get more information on the crash, if it was caught by Windows and post a screenshot of the analysis. We do not need a full crash log report.

. . . . I cannot find back the project name, all info lost? . . . .

The project file should still be in the folder where you saved it. It would be very rare for this to be deleted with a crash.

I have been using the 2022 version with little or no issues so I had no hestitation upgrading to the "improved" 2023 version. Thats where my problems began. I had several issues with version 2023 which even with the Magix tech help couldnt be resolved so I trialled the 2024 version. There were however even more glitches, including the Program freezing, zoom function difficult to use/unstable, editing work area expanding and hiding some buttons and more. I spent a lot of time taking video screen shots and sending them to Magix support. The various suggested fixes for both versions did not work in some cases causing other issues so in the end I gave up using it.

I have just gone back to the much more stable 2022 version and look forwards to using it again. I did however get a refund for the 2023 upgrade but after much pestering.
