Magix Movie Studio 2024 Suite-close timeline gap

Alfns wrote on 2/19/2024, 10:18 AM

I recently purchased Magix Movie Studio 2024 Suite and disagree with the program in several respects. In addition to the difficulty of getting the screen size to fit the program display, I am now unable to close a gap in the timeline track. The message will be that the clip on the right cannot be dragged to the left so that the gap is closed because because "other objects have been placed there already". But there are no other objects there.

Unfortunately, I cannot reinstall Magix Movie Edit Pro 2014 Plus, which I previously used for many years, because Windows 11 does not accept it. However, Widows 11 could be installed a few years ago without sabotaging the already installed Magix Movie Edit 2014 Plus.

@Alfns

Hi

I would suggest you watch the appropriate tutorials listed here, though some refer to older Movie Edit Pro, the principles are relevant to Movie Studio which is this program rebranded.

Also, when posting screenshots, please ensure they are legible, capture at the resolution of the monitor, other than cropping there is no need to reduce them to for example 320 x 240 as the above.

For what I seeing in the picture you upload My guess is that you are in the wrong mouse mode you should be in the mouse mode for single object just highlight the tracks you want to move use the single mode.
